Master of Science in Law (MSL) - Intellectual Property Law

The Intellectual Property Law concentration examines the protection of technology through the federal patent system and the state law of trade secrets. Students will also explore the types of subject matter eligible for copyright protection and the scope of copyright infringement. Additionally, students will learn about protectable trademarks, the trademark registration process, and infringement standards.
