Educational Technology Online Sequence

This 18-credit Educational Technology Online Sequence provides a base of courses that can lead to endorsement as Technology Integration Specialist for educators that are already licensed to teach, depending on state licensure requirements. All six courses are available online and therefore provide easy access for busy professionals. The entire sequence can be completed in one year.  Courses include:

• Technology and Inquiry-Based Learning
• Differentiated Instruction with Technology
• Technology, Schooling and Society
• Teacher Leadership in Technology Integration
• Current Topics in Assessment and Technology
• Learning Theory, Instructional Design and Technology

This series of courses can also lead to a Master’s Degree in Curriculum & Instruction in Education and offer the opportunity to become a technology literate educator or library media specialist.

The University of Vermont offers this program at a special tuition rate for professional programs online. Currently equal to academic year in-state tuition regardless of a student’s residency, this special rate is available to anyone enrolled in the full sequence.

Students who have completed the sequence have:
