Work toward a master’s degree, renew or earn additional certification, or improve your career opportunities with greater training in education online. The University of the Cumberlands offers a Master of Arts in Education that is designed for those individuals currently holding a license or teacher certification. The MA. Ed. program offers specializations in Elementary, Middle School, Secondary (P-12) Special Education, Reading and Writing and Instructional Leadership (Principal – all grades.)
You may also pursue a specialization in Elementary (P-5), Middle School (5-9), Secondary (8-12 English, Math or Social Studies), 5-12 (Business & Marketing), P-12 (Art, Health, Integrated Music, or Physical Education), or Special Education (P-12 in Learning & Behavior Disorders or "LBD")
without additional certification through previously earned licensure.
