| Program Description: | The Educational Administration Specialist degree prepares administrators for superintendent positions. The coursework is offered online while the Field Study and Internship courses are completed with experienced school administrators serving as mentors. This 33-credit hour program meets the requirements for the Nebraska Professional Administrative and Supervisory Certificate preparing candidates for superintendent positions in all public and parochial schools in Nebraska. Students pursuing certification in other states must check with their State Department of Education for certification requirements. The UNK Educational Administration Department has established itself as a leader in the successful delivery of the Specialist Degree. UNK offers affordable tuition to out-of-state online students. For an out-of-state online student, graduate tuition is $375.00 per credit hour. For a resident of Nebraska, graduate tuition is $245.00 per credit hour (2011-12 rates). Fees are additional.
