Master of Science in Technology Management - E-Business

The Master of Science in Technology Management (TMAN) program provides a broad-based core of management competency in the central business functions, along with a deep understanding of generic technologies that enable specific business capabilities. The Master of Science in Technology Management - E-Business offered by UMUC provides courses on how managers can design and operate web sites and generally conduct e-commerce and e-business effectively. Students receive a solid technology foundation as well as relevant business aspects such as strategic planning, marketing planning, security planning and financial and economic aspects of e-business and social, legal and regulatory issues. Graduates of the E-Business specialization, depending on their background can find positions such as: Web Site Designer; E- marketing Specialist; E-security Expert; Web Site Operator; or E-government Specialist.
