Master of Public Health

The University of Liverpool’s MPH program gives you a thorough understanding of all the main disciplines of public health, providing a firm basis for a high-level career in the field, whether in the public or private sector. The core modules cover epidemiology and qualitative research methods, including the application of appropriate study designs, their critical appraisal and the essential principles and procedures for ethical practice. You will study the theory and practice of Health Promotion and Health Service and Management and you can personalize your Masters through a wide range of electives including Health Impact Assessment, Communicable Disease and Public Health Nutrition. Whichever elective modules you choose to enhance your existing knowledge, you will develop additional cognitive, communication, teamwork, research, ICT, numeracy and project planning skills that are eminently transferable within the public health field.
