This one semester course provides an introduction to the major principles of Sociology. It offers students a framework with which to address social and political issues, and teaches students to use sociological inquiry as a means of thinking critically about the social world and their place within it. Topics include sociological ideas such as interaction, social structures and institutions, and social change.
