The Business Analyst Certificate Program is designed for business analysts, business systems analysts, software system architects, product marketers, product managers, quality assurance analysts, programmer analysts, and other professionals who are facilitating or leading process improvement efforts and would like to seek new opportunities in this emerging discipline. The focus is on the core skills, techniques and practices required to identify business needs and the costs and benefits of implementing a technical solution, formulate business specifications from which technical solutions can be developed and implemented and bridge the gap between business and IT through creation of common project definitions and requirements. Courses address the job requirements from the perspectives of systems integrators, project managers, and end-user stakeholders. A certificate is awarded upon completion of six required courses and one elective course.
