The Homeland Security online graduate certificate helps adults possessing a baccalaureate degree to advance their careers and earn 12 credits toward a master’s degree. It provides students with a broad view of homeland security issues by going beyond a single discipline, covering policy, preparation, management and continuity throughout a crisis. The online courses include law enforcement, emergency management and business continuity issues. The Homeland Security certificate program is designed to be completed in approximately 18 months. The 12 credits students earn may be applied to elective area in the following online Thomas Edison State College degree programs: Master of Science in Human Resources Management, Master of Science in Management and Master of Arts in Liberal Studies.
