Students pursuing associate degrees in accounting at Southern New Hampshire University will gain the fundamental skills needed for entry-level accounting positions in industry and government. Students learn the basic knowledge needed to become professional accountants. Courses include Financial Accounting, Managerial Accounting, Cost Accounting and Economics amongst other business related courses. 60 credit hours are required to complete this program. Each course is 8 weeks long. Students may continue their education to earn a bachelor's degree.
