Painting students in the Master of Arts degree program at Savannah College of Art and Design develop their work through informed, individual instruction and a curriculum that promotes exploration based on practical knowledge and awareness of historical and contemporary factors. The program begins with a five-week residency in Savannah, continues online and finishes with a five-week residency in Atlanta. Specific courses include: Contemporary Art, Formal Aspects of Painting, Painting Studio and more. A total of 45 hours must be completed.
