Master of Business Administration (MBA)

SIU's MBA is designed for those with a bachelor's degree in any discipline – a degree in business is not required. Your bachelors degree already gives you specialized knowledge in your field. What SIU can do is show you how to apply your knowledge to the business world.

You could be an artist with the desire to own your own gallery, a journalist who wants to start a magazine, or a computer technician who wants to run your own shop. Perhaps you've reached a glass ceiling at your workplace, where your educational level has limited your chances for further promotion in your field. Or you could simply want to translate your current career focus into a business venue, and adapt your skills to a changing job market.
