Bachelor of Arts in Accounting

Saint Leo University's Bachelor of Arts in Accounting is designed to prepare graduates for careers in financial, managerial and cost accounting, tax planning, auditing, international accounting, and accounting for mergers and acquisitions, or wherever your imagination takes you! You may want to pursue a career in either public or private accounting (profit and not-for-profit) or in the government.

This degree program establishes a foundation for you to continue your education and test to become a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA). A CPA is certified by the state in which an accountant wishes to practice. Certification is obtained by passing the national CPA examination and meeting all other requirements set by the state.
