Peirce College offers a Bachelor of Science Degree in Information Technology with a concentration in Information Security. This intensive program of study prepares the student for the (ISC)2 management level Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification exam. The CISSP certification recognizes a mastery of an international standard in Information Security. Students can become a CISSP upon passing the certificate exam and completing the requirements in industry experience. Prior to accumulating the necessary work experience, an Associate of (ISC)2 designation may be earned. Students who earn the bachelor's degree with this concentration are prepared for information security management positions in government and industry. Students will complete a minimum of 121 credits to earn a bachelor's degree. Generally, a student will generally complete 121 credits in 41 classes. |
