Peirce College offers a Bachelor of Science Degree in Information Technology with a concentration in Desktop Applications. Bachelor students in this concentration focus on developing skills in critical thinking, problem solving, information management, resource management, and application synthesis.
Students will work on projects and scenarios that they may encounter in the workplace using the Microsoft Office Suite of products. Projects are designed to provide tangible results that can be used by students to build a portfolio which demonstrates their abilities using the Microsoft Office applications. Course highlights of this BS in Information Technology include: Extensible Markup Language, Applied Systems Analysis, Spreadsheet Advanced Concepts and Database Advanced Concepts. Students will complete a minimum of 121 credits to earn a bachelor's degree. Generally, a student will generally complete 121 credits in 41 classes. |
