Peirce College offers an Associate of Science Degree in Information Technology with a concentration in Information Security. Students who choose this concentration will obtain the necessary knowledge to become entry-level Security Administrators, Systems Analysts, or Network Security Engineers. Students will focus on preparing for the Systems Security Certified Practitioner (SSCP) designation. Students will also learn the foundation for CompTIA A+® and Security+TM certifications, allowing them to join the fast-paced information security field. Most associate degree graduates at Peirce continue their education and complete the bachelor's degree, opening the door to higher-level positions. Students will complete a minimum of 61 credits to earn an associate degree. Generally, a student will complete 61 credits in 21 classes. |
