Norwich University's unique Master of Arts in Diplomacy program was developed to give working professionals the opportunity to become more effective communicators within the international system. The program provides you with a broad understanding of the global system. You then build on this foundation by branching out into specific concentration areas including International Conflict Management, International Commerce, and International Terrorism.

The Master of Arts in Diplomacy provides a systematic overview of the historical and current theories, and the contending explanatory paradigms of the international system. It explores terminology, history and theories surrounding International Law (including such topics as Environmental Law and Humanitarian Intervention), as well as the World System, Modernization, and Globalization Paradigms in relation to the International Economic Political System.

Course work can be completed in 18 months and is followed by a one-week residency and graduation at Norwich University in Northfield, Vermont.
