Northern Arizona University's B.A.S. in Early Childhood Education specialization is offered for students who have earned any associate degree from a community college. This program provides the education and skills to comply with the No Child Left Behind Act, which requires all pre-school teachers to have bachelor's degrees by 2006. This program is based on state and national education reforms and the expanding specialized knowledge base concerning early childhood, creating educational opportunities throughout the state. This degree does not result in state certification. See Requirements below.
