Master of Divinity - Pastoral/Preaching

Liberty Baptist Theological Seminary's Master of Divinity program is the standard professional degree for ministry. The Master of Divinity in Pastoral/Preaching is specifically designed to help you prepare for professional Christian ministry in local church and para-church settings, while focusing on the skills needed in the pastoral role. You will study preaching, church history, church administration and biblical theology, as well as discipleship ministries, church growth strategies, pastoral counseling and ethics. This program includes an in-depth study of the Scriptures, and teaches biblical leadership principles, as well as Greek and Hebrew language study. Emphasis is on the core values, knowledge and skills needed to serve effectively in a variety of pastoral roles. This degree program is also well-suited for prospective military and marketplace chaplains.
