“Pathways to Accomplished Teaching” is a three-course certificate program intended for current and future National Board candidates or those wishing to improve their practice by applying the National Board Standards. The courses are specially designed as intensive professional development experiences. Candidates engage in classroom-based projects that demonstrate their commitment to students and their learning, knowledge of the subjects they teach and how to teach those subjects to students. They also demonstrate their ability to manage and monitor student learning, and their ability to systematically reflect on their classroom practice and involvement as members of learning communities.
