M.Ed. in Educational Leadership and Administration

This M.Ed. program is designed for individuals preparing for leadership and administrative positions in public and private education at the local, state, and national levels. It also leads to preparation for a principal's license. The curriculum covers national and local issues affecting education and includes development of mastery in strategic planning, organizational management, and accountability.

The program in Educational Leadership and Administration is designed for experienced teachers, administrators, and other educators who have received formal teaching licensure and/or are eligible to have access to instruction at the elementary or secondary level. The program prepares professionals to meet nationally recognized school leadership standards to successfully complete the principal licensure examination. Applicants who reside in the United States should contact their own state boards of teaching to determine if state board approval is recognized in their home state.
