The Master of Science in Nursing programs at Grantham University are designed to build upon and expand the knowledge and skills a professional registered nurse has developed during baccalaureate nursing education and practice. The MSN in Nursing Informatics prepares the professional registered nurse with additional knowledge and clinical expertise in Nursing Informatics that builds on baccalaureate nursing education and practice. This program is evidence-based and has been developed according to the Essentials of Master's Education for Nursing from the American Association of Colleges of Nursing (2009, AACN). Additional knowledge and clinical expertise is developed in areas of leadership and management, human diversity and social issues, health promotion and disease prevention, and research and professional practice related to current trends and issues in today's global society.
