The Nurse Educator MSN career option is directed toward preparing the nurse to teach in a collegiate or health care setting. This CCNE accredited program is 40 - 43 credits with 3 starts per year, and courses last 8 weeks using eCollege software. Course highlights include Advanced Health Assessment, Issues in Nursing Education, and Technology for Educators. Graceland University’s Master of Science in Nursing programs expand the focus of nursing by using the baccalaureate nursing program as the foundation. The curriculum is designed to allow working RN's to pursue graduate study at home with minimal interruption of work and family responsibilities. Students complete the requirements for graduation through a combination of online courses, directed independent study courses, and preceptor-guided practicums in the student's own community (anywhere in the US).
