Program Description:

The RN to BSN degree at FHCHS is designed for registered nurses of all concentrations who are seeking administrative and/or educator careers. Through our personalized, faith-based program, students build deeper knowledge of public and individual patient care. Earning this degree prepares nurses for the ever-evolving administrative, consulting, research, and teaching needs of hospitals and clinics.

Our students flourish professionally and socially with coaching from faculty, staff, and their peers in our nurturing online environment. Online students can expect exceptional instruction from practicing nursing professors, open access to facilitators in weekly chats, and open dialog with classmates who share your passion for patient-focused healthcare. This online learning community focuses on building knowledge that is immediately applicable in students’ workplace.

Our BSN curriculum covers advanced research and communication methods while instilling excellence in patient care. Courses in world religions, pharmacology, statistics, and healing words apply to the human and technical aspects of all nursing concentrations.
The degree is arduous; however our BSN graduates are highly coveted by employers and Master’s degree programs. Our faculty and staff provide the personal interaction needed to ensure each graduate has a high level of competency, confidence, and knowledge consistent with the Florida Hospital tradition.
