Bachelor of Science in Professional Studies - Training and Development

The Bachelor of Science in Professional Studies (BSPS) is an innovative undergraduate degree program that will prepare you to move into the professional ranks of an organization. This program is specifically designed to accomodate adults who want to earn their bachelor's degree while fulfilling life obligations and is comprised of a wide range of interactive, professionally-oriented course work.The ability to identify avenues for innovative and unique training enhances and strengthens the organization. 

The training and development concentration enables students to gain a deeper understanding of adult learning, effectively develop and conduct needs assessments, develop and facilitate training based upon target audience needs, effectively evaluate programs and understand the role that technology can play in enhancing training and development. A minimum of 120 credits is required for graduation. Courses are offered in an accelerated, 8-week format. Students can obtain a degree in four years (less with transfer credits). Those entering with an associate's degree or equivalent can earn their degree in about two years.
