Undergraduate Certificate in Occupational Safety and Health

CSU certificate programs deliver extensive, specialized training. Courses are designed to offer students the planning, analysis, and decision-making techniques they need to compete in today's evolving business climate.

Students select and complete four courses (12 semester credit hours) within the occupational safety and health concentration to earn a certificate at the undergraduate level. Course offerings include Fundamentals of Occupational Safety and Health; Hazardous Materials Management; Fleet Safety; Construction Safety; Legal Aspects of Safety and Health; Interactions of Hazardous Material; Total Environmental, Health & Safety Management; Industrial Ergonomics; Safety Supervisor; OSHA Standards; Toxicology; Industrial Hygiene; Accident Investigation; and Process Safety Management.
