If you want a degree that will allow you to become a licensed mental health counselor, then College of the Southwest's Master of Science in Education with an emphasis in Counseling: Mental Health is a perfect fit. You can choose to finish your coursework within 12 months, on the fast track, which is followed by an internship that is usually completed within a 2-semester timeframe. The 39 credit hours of coursework is delivered online and is followed by a 3 credit hour internship of 300 clock hours that you complete in your own community.
