Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) Completion Program

Clarion University of Pennsylvania's Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) Completion program is intended to build upon the background and knowledge of registered nurses and to afford them the opportunity to continue their education at a professional level. Students may receive as many as 60 credits for course work taken as part of their RN diploma or degree.

Clarion University's BSN program integrates liberal arts with career education at the RN level, establishing the basis for a variety of BSN learning activities that focus on professional nursing practice. Course highlights of this BSN include: Leadership in Nursing, Frontiers in Health Care, Promoting Healthy Communities and Health Assessment. Graduates of this program are prepared to practice theory-based nursing in the delivery of professional care to individuals, families, and communities throughout the spectrum of health. In addition, the BSN program at Clarion University provides a foundation for graduate education at the masters and doctoral level. This degree completion program requires 120 credits.
