The Superintendent Letter of Eligibility (SLE) program provides an opportunity for a graduate student to obtain certification in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania as a superintendent, assistant superintendent, supervisor of curriculum and instruction, supervisor of pupil personnel services, and elementary, middle, or secondary principal. This program combines a number of unique features not generally found in most superintendent certification programs. Modes of instruction utilized in the program include (1) core courses, (2) university seminars, and (3) business/industry/education partnerships. Instructors are drawn from the ranks of practicing school superintendents.
