Developed for students wanting to treat major mental disorders as a Licensed Independent Mental Health Practitioner (LIMPH). This degree prepares the agency- or private-practitioner to specialize in formal assessment issues, including low-level testing with an emphasis on lifestyle, academic, and school settings. This program is for professionals who plan to obtain state licensure to provide direct mental health services. The 60-credit hour program in clinical counseling is designed to meet changing national licensure standards.
