This degree offers students the opportunity to learn the inner workings of the American legal system, and provides them with the skills to advance their careers within a legal environment.
Students in this program can expect to learn how to: - Develop a variety of effective legal documents, including legal briefs, memorandums, and letters - Understand critical thinking skills such as reasoning and logic, combine these skills with academic research, and apply them in practical legal situations - Identify various areas of legal practice, including criminal law, contractual law, and civil law - Recognize unprofessional behaviors, such as conflicts of interest, bribery, coercion, coaching witnesses, and other behaviors, in order to become advocates for ethical behavior
