Bachelor of Science in Gaming and Simulation

This degree prepares students for careers in the multi-billion dollar video game industry, and the ever-expanding simulation industry, which includes government contracts for virtual training and weaponry testing programs.  These skills also are in demand for fields such as architecture, marketing, education, manufacturing, and engineering. 

This 36-credit hour degree program is offered entirely online, permitting students to interact on class projects.  Plus, students learn from faculty members who are working professionals with commercial game design production experience.

Students in this program can expect to learn to:

- Gain strong skills in systems analysis and design, programming, software development tools, and data management,
- Develop artistic talents by designing 2-D and 3-D renderings for home video and casino games, including multi-level and multi-player programs,
- Understand and apply production skills, consisting of modeling, rigging, weight mapping, and texturing game characters,
- Create a comprehensive portfolio and job resume, and practice basic job search skills such as interviewing.
