Herbal Materia Medica III offers supplemental materia medica training for the Master Herbalist program and may also be taken as a stand-alone course for advanced materia medica training and as an elective for the Nat 401 program. This course studies the major active constituents and the therapeutic actions of the herbs studied: fennel, sorrel, sweet basil, watercress, feverfew, shepherds purse, rosemary.
