Doctor of Education in Educational Leadership - K-12 Education

Argosy University designed its EdD in Educational Leadership to meet the demanding requirements of educational professionals looking to become leaders of educational institutions, while maintaining a balance between their career, family and education. Argosy University developed a program that offers students the chance to enhance their personal and professional expertise in the areas of change management, problem-solving, financial management, planning, and program evaluation, among others, all taught within the context of leading within an educational institution. The curriculum also explores the historical, philosophical, psychological, technical, theoretical and practical aspects of education and institutional administration. You will have an opportunity to reinforce and expand your personal and professional expertise in the areas of change management, problem-solving, financial management, planning, and program evaluation.

In the EdD Educational Leadership program you will take courses that are designed to reinforce and expand core skills in all aspects — both practical and theoretical — of education, as well as to introduce you to advanced curriculum training. The K-12 Education concentration is tailored for K-12 teachers who seek to improve their classroom performance, develop their career, or want to shift into an instructional design role.
