Think of a challenging course designed to give you all the tools you need to be successful in the paralegal field. The Post Baccalaureate Paralegal Certificate program offered by The American Institute for Paralegal Studies is designed for candidates with undergraduate degrees and those with significant law-related work experience will also be considered. This is a 12-month, 25 credit program that allows you to choose from one of six areas of specialty concentration: Litigation and Alternative Dispute Resolution, Employment Law, Corporate Law, Elder Law, Intellectual Property Law, and Immigration Law. Specialization in a particular area may give you an edge in a competitive field and make you more attractive to employers. The program is taught by talented attorneys and practicing paralegals in the field, bringing extensive experience in the law and a broad range of legal backgrounds to the online classroom. In addition to sharing their expertise with you, they are available to answer your questions via personal messages, classroom, study halls, and phone calls. Students are encouraged to choose a professional certification track which will prepare you for either the Paralegal Advanced Competency Exam (PACE) or the Certified Legal Assistant (CLA). Our prep courses are built into the curriculum and are included in your tuition. |
