Medical Assisting

This comprehensive program includes two separate courses: Administratve Assisting (front office) and Clinical Assisting (back office). Front office learning objectives include managing medical health records, determining insurance coverage, accounting, filing procedures and customer service in a medical office environment. Back office course learning objectives include collecting and preparing lab specimens, performing basic lab tests, sterilizing medical instruments, plus a hands-on externship will provide extensive practical training that focuses on medical specialties in numerous areas.
