People pay wedding planners for their inside knowledge of the industry—so you will need to secure vendors that get things done and do them flawlessly. You will also be responsible for setting up the venue(s) and working with the entire bridal party to execute a memorable day for the bride and groom.
In addition to getting the details down straight, coping with family arguments can be part of the job. Exceptional mediation skills are imperative in this career. But when it all comes down to crunch time, it’s your quick thinking that will make or break the big day so resolving on-the-spot issues is paramount.
