St. Joseph's College
Since 1916, St. Joseph's College has provided an affordable, academic, liberal arts education to a diverse group of students. Independent and coeducational, the College prepares students for lives of integrity, social responsibility and service -- lives that are worthy of the College's motto, Esse non videri -- "To be and not to seem." Who should take an online degree? An online degree program is ideally suited for working adults with busy or variable schedules, as well as for individuals who are geographically unable to come to St. Joseph's College New York campuses. Online learning allows you to participate in a degree program at the time and place best suited for you. Is an online degree right for me?Our online degree programs reflect the high standards of academic excellence established at St. Joseph's College. Our courses will teach you innovative concepts so you can gain the skills needed to enhance your career. What is the online course experience like?As with any other course, an online class involves reading, completing assignments/projects, and taking examinations, all of which is done through the universally recognized Blackboard software system that supports the courses. Please note that final examinations for certain courses are conducted on campus or at pre-arranged testing centers. Through this system, you will participate in regular online discussion groups that focus on the material being covered. You will have an interactive experience with the faculty and other students in the class. In this supportive environment, everyone has his or her say. And because the online class is asynchronous, you can participate whenever it is convenient for you. 24/7 technology support is available to all online students. |
