SCAD eLearning courses follow a 10-week quarter system. Courses are partially asynchronous which means that while there are definite start and end dates each quarter, there are no specific times for students to login to their courses.
Delivery Format
Is learning completed entirely online, and are there any special teaching methods?
SCAD eLearning courses are delivered in a fully online, asynchronous format. Courses consist of ten units with content in a text and graphic format, discussion forums, assessments, readings and project assignments.
Technical Requirements
Required hardware/software that you'll need in order to run the course software.
Students must possess basic computer skills and have regular access to computer hardware, software and Internet connectivity. Specific degree and certificate programs may require additional hardware, software, operating system and browser requirements

There are no geographic restrictions to enroll as a fully online student at SCAD.
