College launches online computer repair certification programs
Adults who wish to launch careers in the computer repair industry may benefit from enrolling in a campus-based or online degree program, as these professionals often have more job opportunities upon earning higher education.
Schools such as Ashworth College offer certification programs that prepare students for jobs in this field. The university recently announced that it will offer two new online computer service and repair programs in hardware and software. These programs were designed to prepare computer professionals to take the A+ Certification Exam. The exam is the industry standard for evaluating competency in entry-level computer service.
"Our program caters to technology professionals who need to upgrade their skills in order to take their career to the next level, as well as those just starting out," said John Riser, program director for Ashworth Career School.
Each of the of two specialty concentrations is comprised of 11 comprehensive lessons. The computer service and repair programs also include textbooks from top publishers, online study guides, video clips and student support.
