Online learning endorsed by the army
In this modern age, obtaining an online education can be an attractive option for adult professionals, and those who work in the military. As these men and women often shift locations, it can be more prudent for them to achieve their qualifications online.
In fact, the U.S. Army recently recognized one school and its commitment to online education and its dedication to helping service men and women. Ashford University is now an army Letter of Instruction (LOI) school, meaning that it is now accessible through the web site, GoArmyEd.
This site allows men and women who are on active duty to access online education services while stationed around the world. One feature that may be a great tool for these men and women is the free tuition assistance (TA) for courses.
Associate vice president of Ashford's military and corporate development, K.C. Haight, hopes that this new online accessibility will encourage many in active duty to seek online education. "We look forward to welcoming thousands more military students to our university in the years to come," she said.
With online education opportunities such as this, other working or busy adults might want to consider completing - or starting - their studies online.
