Online university to sponsor another IT webinar for members of the military

Officials at American Sentinel University, an accredited online education institution, have recently announced that the school will be sponsoring another one-hour webinar on January 26 that will address the topic of careers in the information technology (IT) field.

The webinar will be led by Lieutenant Colonel Paul Capicik, the university's vice president of military programs, and will focus on the job outlook in the IT security sector, the best ways to break into the industry and various fields of expertise and career paths that can open for military graduates with IT-related degrees.

"Signs are showing an increasing hiring trend in IT security," said Capicik. "This webinar will provide an overview of how to prepare to enter or re-enter this exciting and fast paced career field."

Capicik also writes an article series for the university that covers many topics that will be discussed in the upcoming webinar.

Online universities may be particularly attractive to adults who would like to acquire new skills but do not have the time to do so in a conventional setting.
