Online university launches MBA degree for working real estate professionals
Marylhurst University, a regionally accredited and nationally recognized online education provider, has announced the addition of a master of business administration degree with a concentration in real estate studies.
The degree offering, which is only available through the university's accelerated online program, is designed for managers who are already working in the real estate industry and who are looking to increase their skills and knowledge in the field.
"As the real estate industry continues to recover its economic vibrancy, those already working in the field are key to its long-term success," said Alain Gracianette, MBA department chair. "Our goal is to help current real estate professionals gain the additional skills they may need to return this industry to health."
In addition to the real estate specialization, enrolled MBA students can choose from five other concentrations, including finance, non-profit management, marketing and healthcare management.
Today, nearly 4 million students are taking online courses and earning online college degrees. At the secondary school level, more than 700,000 high school students are taking one or more courses online and nearly 40 states have established state-led virtual schools.
