Online university for financial professionals unveils course offerings

Officials at Richard Weylman Inc. have recently announced the creation of the Weylman Center for Excellence in Practice Management, an online university designed for financial professionals.

The Weylman Center will offer 41 online video courses to working professionals who are interested in bolstering client retention rates, discovering lucrative financial opportunities and understanding complex marketing concepts.

"In today's changing market, affluent investors are seeking to do business with people they know and trust," said founder Richard Weylman.

"Financial professionals are finding that it isn't enough to just be technically competent," he added. "Success today requires new, fresh and relevant marketing."

The center will offer courses designed for corporate managers, support personnel as well as advisors and agents. The program will concentrate on financial advising success in an affluent marketplace.

Today, nearly 4 million students are taking online courses and earning online college degrees. At the secondary school level, over 700,000 high school students are taking one or more courses online and nearly 40 states have established state-led virtual schools.
