Kaplan University rolls out two new online masters degree programs

Officials with Kaplan University have recently announced that the institution has launched two new online masters degree programs as well as several accelerated bachelors degree offerings. Beginning this week, prospective students can apply to enroll in a master of public administration program or a master of education in instructional technology program.

"Kaplan University's market-driven degree programs are designed to provide an academic foundation and real-world knowledge to help our students enter new careers or advance into leadership roles in their current careers," said Wade Dyke, president of Kaplan University.
"Kaplan's online platform allows students to learn in a flexible, student-centered environment where they can customize their education to meet their needs," he added.

The master of public administration degree is designed for students who are interested in careers in healthcare management, criminal justice and governmental management. Enrollees will be trained to become experts in the administration of public funds, strategic planning and applied research.

Meanwhile, the master of science in education in instructional technology degree was developed for those who are looking for non-teaching career opportunities with secondary and postsecondary institutions, such as curriculum developers, learning and development specialists or project managers.
