Capella University's IT specialization receives prominent endorsement

Officials with Capella University have announced that the school's online masters degree program in information technology with a business analysis specialization has been officially recognized as an Endorsed Education Provider (EEP) by the International Institute of Business Analysis.

The program received the endorsement after the Institute found that its curriculum was in alignment with the Business Analysis Body of Knowledge Guide, which sets best practices principles within the industry. The certification requires that the university prove that its instructors have demonstrable experience in the IT business analysis field and put a measure in place to allow students to evaluate the quality of each course.

Furthermore, the endorsement requires that Capella continue to improve course content and the online platform in which it is delivered. As an EEP institution, Capella can now help students qualify to become certified business analysis professionals.

"Programs like Capella's are imperative in meeting the rapidly growing need for business analysis professionals worldwide," said Kevin Brennan, vice president for professional development for the Institute.
