California InterContinental University recognized by Veterans' Administration

The United States Veterans' Administration has recognized California InterContinental University as a provider of higher education for active military personnel and veterans.
A provider of distance education through online degrees, CalUniversity was praised by Veterans' Administration officials for its overall scheduling flexibility as well as its a affordable tuition and payment plan.
Students have several educational tracks to choose from, with the most common being business administration, entrepreneurship and leadership, IT and healthcare administration. Degree requirements can be completed through an accelerated program as well as regular or extended programs. Bachelors, masters and Doctorate degrees are offered.
Course study is provided by teachers who work in their field of instruction. Online classes are limited to small class sizes with most faculty possessing doctoral degrees. While there are no mandatory group activities, all the tools are provided for those who wish to participate in group work.
"Our goal is two-fold: to provide military personnel and veterans with opportunities to enhance their career growth; and to aid them in smoothly transitioning into other careers," said Dr. Shaan Senthil Kumar, university co-chairman and CEO.
