New online programs mean more options for students

Bridgepoint Education's Anderson University has recently added two new degree programs to its online catalog.

The first program is a bachelor's degree program focusing on Human Resources Management, designed for students actively seeking employment in the HR field. The program will focus on a number of workforce-related issues, including development, compensation, and safety.

"A distinguished component of this new bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management is its integration of a broader business curriculum, which helps to expand the student's understanding of the business world," said Ashford University's director of Business and Professional Studies, Dr. Michael Reilly.

A Master of Arts in Education program is the second of Ashford's new offerings. It is geared toward students who wish to pursue a career with educational organizations, non-profits, government agencies and community development groups. It also comes with a specialization in public policy.

The two programs are the latest additions to an extensive catalog of undergraduate and graduate degree programs offered online by Ashford in business administration, social sciences and healthcare. The programs are available on Ashford's Colorado campus as well.
