Adult students can benefit from the convenience of online education
The flexibility offered by online education allows adult learners to earn a degree without disruption to their current jobs or their personal lives. Many schools offer occupational services to help adult learners re-enter the workforce.
For example, Remington College, has a career services office that can assist students with job queries. The office offers students help with employment applications, résumé-writing and preparing for job interviews.
Also, attendees of Remington College can enjoy the benefits of a web-based education, such as anytime access to course syllabi, lectures, assignments and tutorials, while working full-time or raising children.
"Our online degree programs offer the flexibility and convenience that many people need to complete their education goals," said Dale Leatherwood, president of Remington Colleges online programs.
Remington College offers associates and bachelors degree programs in business administration, criminal justice, and organizational management.
Professionals who hold a bachelors degree can earn twice as much as individuals with just a high school diploma, the Bureau of Labor Statistics reports.
