Women in online MBA programs may join business development organizations
Female professionals who wish to further their careers through on-campus or online degree programs may consider attending networking events, such as the one being held by the Network of Executive Women.
The organization, which aims to increase opportunities for women through education and professional development, has announced it will hold a networking luncheon in Concord, North Carolina.
Attendees of the organization's second event of this kind will have the opportunity to meet and talk with more than 400 leaders in the retail and consumer packaged good industries from across the state.
The conference will also feature speeches from female business professionals, including Lynette Lewis, the event's keynote speaker.
Cathy Green, a member the organization's board of directors, said the luncheon is intended "to serve as a valuable resource for the talented women [and] advance women in retail businesses."
The event will also serve as a fundraiser for the Second Harvest Kids Café Backpack program, which provides meals for underprivileged children on weekends.
Women who wish to take advantage of the opportunities offered by similar organizations and conferencing may learn business practice and networking skills from online courses.
